A Black Mirror-esque drama following our protagonist in his adventure with an ‘immersive gaming experience’; ARMA was my final short film project during my time in university. As the editor of the film, I won the ‘best short film editor’ award on the course, with ARMA now being a part of the Lift-Off Global Network official selections 2026.
An unspoken office bromance in the form of a mockumentary; Paperclips was the first short film I edited during my final year of univerisity, which has been chosen as part of the official selection for films at RS FilmFest 2026.
Editing short films
Where I find beauty in short film creation is during the collaboration between roles. Working closely with the directors of each film in editing suites, shot supervising on set and giving creative input, being allowed to experiment with stylistic choices, all amalgamate to a niche I thoroughly enjoy being a part of. Whether I’m on set with the crew, or simply editing a single scene from home, the short film creative process is one I have grown to love. As someone who believes the line between online content creation and cinema is becoming blurrier by the minute, I’m incredibly passionate about working for online creators who dedicate immense time and effort into curating and refining their videos. Azraeo is one of those creators. I initially reached out to Az in 2022, and we have worked closely ever since. He has found massive popularity; gaining over 400k subscribers on his main YouTube channel, with videos we’ve worked on together reaching 20-60k consistently.
